When a couple first falls in love, romance is abundant.
They are constantly kissing, showing affection, and
thinking about each other twenty-four hours per day.

Fast-forward ten years and take a look at the same couple
Though they may still love each other, chances are
the romance has died down to a flickering ember.
However, as long as there is a spark, you can revive
your relationship
and get things heated up again.

If you want to revive your relationship, you’ll need
to make a firm commitment first.  Putting the
romance back in your relationship won’t just happen.
You’ll have to take the time and put effort into it.
However, you can rest assured that your work won’t go
without reward.

Your partner will love the extra attention and there is
no doubt that he or she will reciprocate the feelings.
When you are putting romance back into a relationship
you have to realize that romance will not replace
communication.
This means that if you and your partner are suffering
from a lack of communication, romance won’t solve
your problems.

You may find that if you’ve been arguing frequently
that you may need to make some preparations before
working on the romantic aspect of your relationship
Some good beginning steps to take include treating
your partner as a friend, avoiding quarreling or arguing,
and spending good quality time together simply having fun.

If you make an effort to simply get along with
your partner for several weeks before you work on the
romance, you’ll find that you will have better success.
In fact, if you’ve been fighting frequently and then
suddenly turn on the romantic charm, your partner
may become suspicious of your motives.

Always preface romance with open communication,
respect, love, and spending quality time together.
This way your romantic gestures will be perceived as
genuine and will be appreciated.

You can begin showing your partner that you love
and respect them by greeting them when they come home
or when you first see them.
This is often one of the first areas where people
begin to stop showing affection.

When a couple first falls in love, they can’t wait
until they see each other.  They typically run
into each other’s arms or greet each other with a
hug or kiss

Move ahead several years into a relationship and
partner’s may fail to acknowledge the other’s presence.
Begin to greet your partner with love and affection
every time you see them.  You may also find it beneficial
to listen first and speak later.

If your partner has just arrived home, greet them
affectionately then stop what you are doing and listen
to how their day was.  Little steps like these have
tremendous impact when it comes to reviving a relationship.

You should also realize that no one knows your partner
better than you do.  Most likely, you already know
what your partner likes romantically
By taking the time to communicate with your partner and
display your affection, you can revive your relationship.
